Remarks

The four corners of the sketch are pierced by pin holes, which suggest that the work may have been hung by pins in an early show. Other works with this feature include Burnt Country, Spring 1915 (1915.33),  Aura Lee Lake, Spring 1916 (1916.55) and Algonquin Evening, Fall 1916 (1916.106)
